Who Are You?

It's pretty stressful trying to fit in sometimes. The most stressful part is trying to meet someone else's expectation. Has anyone ever asked themselves one question to break this trend?

Do I have to be someone else they like or be the real me that they don't know? Any answer would be right but it's the way of delivering them makes the difference.

Our brain work naturally with our own current knowledge. People don't change because they want to but it's because they learn and adapt as they grow. Some people try to be cool and some people are naturally cool. There's a big difference between them. Trying to be cool can sometime leave you stuck in some situations but not if you are naturally creative.

I have made my self fit to people by being me. I was called weird and strange. What made me acceptable? Perhaps the way I accepted who I am and I treat people the way I know how made me accepted. I express my self and let people laugh. I am not perfect and I don't intend to be one.

Sometimes, your true color is more important that being someone else. The only thing people care about the most is your hygiene and your attitude. Just crack your shell and be confident. It wont hurt to try.

Where Does Your Family Stand?

I remember when I was younger. Me, my sister and my mom would take a drive every night to enjoy different places in Vancouver. We would stop by at a McDonald's to enjoy the end of the trip. We were satisfied with the life we had.

Everything was lost when me and my sister grew up. My sister is now living with my father and taking all the requirements for her college. I am now working and living on my own.

It's hard to say but we are all too busy trying to achieve something so high. When I say we, it means everyone and not just my family. I remember a simple life as a child and how happy and content I was. Now I feel like I'm trying to chase a goal that seems great but unsatisfying.

I want to be successful but I also want to be to content. Why am I writing this post? This is not to tell you but to remind you that you have a family. Even if my parents are divorced, we are still happy with each other. I used to be consumed by anger towards my father but growing up made me understand his situation and I learned to forgive. I am still blessed with great parents despite of their separation.

What is the difference between contentment and success? How do you value one another? In order to be content, you have to succeed. Not knowing when to be content, is not knowing when you have succeeded. How is family related to this? Because of family, you have great supporters that boosts your limits. You are all there to help one another. In good times and bad, they are there.

True happiness is in harmony with your family. You all share the joy of life and the lessons with it.

Never let your goal cloud your family.

Let It Out

You hold it in like it's yours to burden. You act tough when you're hurt. You smile when you're troubled. Facing problems may seem hard sometimes and we all try to get away but we never reach further away. This world is round and you will always end up where you're from when you run around. Everything stays as time passes by for you to think of every mistakes. Holding a needle in your chest only keeps the pain worse as it stays longer. Cry it out and let someone who cares listen.

Lighten up and move on. Don't drag your self down over an error. Your lack of confidence will drag other people down as much as you drag your self down. Those who love and care for you will be put to a worry where you could have lived a greater life.

We all make mistakes and we are all imperfect. There is no way we can turn back time but we can only try and life a better future. Don't be afraid to face your fears. Don't act tough and do things alone. Never bite off more than you can chew. Never think you are alone. If you're willing to open your self up to others, people will come in and you won't be alone.

Purpose of Life

Many people try to live with their purpose. Sometimes, their purpose is what makes them live. Does mankind's existence have any purpose?

God gave the world and brought life to it. This life is nourished by it's own host. What you provide to your life is what your life becomes. What you do with it is your freedom of will. Your life is a part of the massive existence of the universe and what makes you and individual among many others is your mind.

We are all born, live a childhood life, go to school, get a job, live in old age and return to nature. Is that all? Is there a battle between good and bad? Are we destined to save us or destroy us? We are given life as a gift. We use it to have and enjoy the wonderful things in the world and do what we know is right. We are all sharing this world and we are all a part of one life.

Life is good enough as it is. Extending your goal is searching for purpose. Do you want a better future? Do you want to save mankind? Do you want to rule the world? Do you want to bring order? Do you want to fight a battle that may affect the flow of life eternally? What you wish to do is not the purpose of life. You are permitted to do what you want to do. Be careful as what you do may provide you with a good or bad karma.

Your current existence extends life to another generation. What you do now will have results in the future. Do not serve your life. Let life serve you and you will be satisfied. Your faith God will serve you well to the end.

Between The Line

Peace is not obtained between countries unless they actually work hard to obtain it.

A good leader does not risk the life of others in terms of obtaining. Must war be done? If you want something, ask for a permission. Learn to negotiate and avoid conflict.

When one forces it's self through, others tend to send forces as they feel threatened. War becomes unavoidable. When a war breaks in, can you stop it? Maybe yes or no. Send your troops back or negotiate. Not everything is obtainable for free and stealing is not a good way of obtaining. We all feel bad when someone robs our home.

What is it that defines a great country? Everyone wants power, territory, control, and an impossible respect. War is now a symbol for arrogance. A country that only wants to desire will never be fulfilled. They will only lead to nothingness as they ignore all the good things they already have.

Every life is scared. We are all taught different things in our own culture. Respect others and they will respect you. A leader that put it's country first before the people is not a worthy leader. People suffer because of high taxes and bills. The government is rich and have so much funds for war. Must the people work more than 8 hours a day to live and still have debt? The government is nowhere to be found in these situations. A good leader is someone who has gone through hardship. The leaders we have right now are people that have always been rich. They know nothing about hardship. Understanding one another is the only way to build a great nation despite of any hardships. A united nation will stand together till the end.

In this modern world, people takes care of themselves. The government are not governing anymore. They are now working hard to make their land as beautiful as they can without looking at the people. Should we be ready for something?

A country that makes allies will obtain greater resources. Always give something in return to obtain something new. It's the balance of giving one out to have room for a new one. When this cycle is broken, there are those who feel threatened or robbed. This is how rebels and war gets born.

A leader is nothing without it's people and vice versa. The leader is what the people become. If the leader is good then he will produce good people. A bad leader only create it's own enemies within his own nation and other nations. Can you deceive everyone? Your own foolishness will go back down to you.

In every war, there is no winner. Every death is a loss. Is it sacrifice? Whenever evil is in action, a greater force is out there is formed. They are born for the sake of many others and others follow them. If people have to choose between the good and bad, they will pick the side that will not harm them. They will pick the side that can protect them and they can protect.

No man is perfect and no man can make a country perfect. Everyone who lives in this world deserves respect.

(Story) To Where You Are

I grew up with my master and he provided me many things. I was just a 4 year old orphan from Thailand when I first met him. I never asked anything but his generosity has kept me strong and happy. We traveled many places together. He taught me how to be happy even if I don't get everything I want. My chores are fun because my master makes them fun. Not once have I been stressed or troubled. For as long as I'm with my master, I am happy.

We were travelling in a forest. The day was great and sunny but it didn't last very long. Dark clouds came and it started pouring. We found a cave for shelter and we had to camp in until the rain stops. For 6 hours, the rain kept going and we needed to find food. My master decided to go outside and search for food. I could not stand to see my master go in the forest alone while I sit back to wait. We could not find any fruit or anything to eat in the forest. When we thought there is nothing to find, we saw fruits and vegetations from the other mountain. The only problem is we have to cross an old looking bridge made out of ropes and planks of woods. Down below is a heavy flowing river. My master went ahead across the bridge and made sure it's safe. I followed him but I stepped on a wrong plank then fell. I was scared and I though i'm going to die. My master was powerless to save me. From there on, I was separated away from my master.

I  woke up in a small house. They say that an old fisherman saw me unconscious on a floating wood by the river. I was still alive so the old man looked for help as fast as he could. I am clueless to where I am. All I know is I'm in a small town and my master is thousand miles away.

I had no money or anything to sell off me. I lived in an abandoned hut and I have to work in order to save money. A kind man let me work in his tea house and kindly gave me free food. I worked for 5 months until I finally have enough money to travel. How will I find my master? Where is he? I didn't know what to do. My master has been travelling all over the world and I am clueless of where his home is.

I know he is Canadian but we have never been in Canada for the past 11 years that we have been traveling. I didn't care about anything and went to Canada. I searched every province and worked part time in many places.  I could not find my master in everywhere I go. I have called every single person with my master's name in the phone book but I was hopeless. I have traveled across Canada and been robbed many times. I've been working and living on the streets. I go to gyms to take showers. I survived every hardship with the hope of seeing my master once more.

After 7 years of searching, I made contact to someone who knew my master. I found out that he was sick. My master has also been searching for me and gone sick after 3 years that I was gone. He has never been strong since then and finally at the age of being weak. I took his address and rushed to him. I made it to his house but I was too late. Outside his room was his family crying. I have feared the worst and he was already dead before I even got to talk to him.

I could not help my self but cry. I felt like a part of me have also died. I felt weak and hopeless. I was about to leave his house and his daughter came to me. She gave me a letter from my master which is specifically for me. In it says "I am happy that you are safe. I'm sorry that I could not find you. Remember to live life to the fullest. Keep smiling and I will live through you. Even if I'm gone, I am happy that you became a part of me."

My master's daughter talked to me and told stories about my master talking about me. She offered me a home and a job to live through. I lived in her basement for 3 years. We became friends until best friends. We were connected by the love we have for her father and my loving master. After 2 years, we were married and had a family.

We now have 2 children. I became my master and taught my children everything my master taught me. Our lives has never been happier.

"...Master, thank you for everything."

Always Get Back Up

In every fall is a loss. Pain is sometimes what makes it worse. How do I right the wrongs? What if it was different? Everything that has happened cannot be changed.  Is suffering enough to make up time? Does every tear fix the pain? Sometimes, your heart cries for you when you can't cry. Deep inside, you feel regrets. Without you, your future is nothing. With you, your future is shaped.

When you drop something on the ground, it stays on the ground. If you pick up what you have dropped, you will  regain what is supposed to be lost. When sorrow takes over for your loss, you have lost what you cherish. If you try to gain back what you have lost, you will end up searching what is lost. When you try to stay still and look at your surroundings, you will see that you have already gained so much. There are much more to obtain by observing than collecting. Notice what's around you and let what  surrounds you notice you. From where you stand still is where your first step to moving on.

How much does it hurt to lose something important? The pain varies depending on how much you value what you have lost. Is it a treasure, your savings or your lover? Listen to your self before you start breaking down. Use this loss as a strength to get back up. Losing something is not the end of everything. It is the new time where you learn to take what you already have and use them. When you are ready, feel free to take what you value the most. How do you know what is valuable? It is what values you.

What values you? These are the simple materials, tools, and people that cares for you and there when you need them. It does not have to be the same as the old one but learning to appreciate what appreciates you will bring you back to the happiness.

When the world tries to be fancy, don't try to be the world. Knowing what's enough is what makes you enough for the world.

Inspiration

There are billions of people living in this world. There are billions of different interests that this world contains. Have you got your own?

Do the things you love and be good at it. Let your passion out and share it with the world. With love, joy, caring and giving, be strong and express your self out. Do not be discouraged by someone who wants nothing good but to drag you down. Many will tell you how bad you are doing but do not let it turn you down.

Take every compliments to inspire you. Take every constructive criticism to make you better. Take every insults as a test so you can be a greater person. People will let you down and you have your own power to pull your self up. Unleash the powerful person inside you where you can rely on your self when there's no one around. Be your self and live with the world as the world will live with your passion.

Sometimes, people will insult you when you do something great. Because they fail to do what you have done, their ego could not allow them to be bested. Don't let them get into your head. Keep doing what you love and you will be greater in time. Let people insult you and let people defend you. Best of all, be a greater person by letting your passion beat every insults.

Music, arts, poetry and other great creations. They show a master's true emotion. Sharing your emotion will not only make others understand who you are but also your message. Because we are inspired, we are strong. Let this inspiration help us live in harmony. As we live in harmony, we will share the life and joy of this world.

Freedom

Your freedom is a great possession. With it, you are free to do things you want.

Freedom is the greatest tool to start something great. Be careful and try not to waste it. Do what is right and you will live with acceptable returns.

There are many challenges in our lives. That does not give us reasons to do bad things. Do not fall into the order of doing the wrong decisions. What you're doing is just making excuses to do unnecessary things.

It is true that not all good doers are rewarded. Be strong and sooner or later, you will receive something good. Let people see through you and they will help you in times of challenges. They say that the world is harsh but mankind alone makes it harsh.

Your very own enemy starts within your self. You must fight and resist all the bad things that influences yourself to do the wrong things. When you conquer your own self, you are strong. You will be ready to conquer over others but never forget to do what is right. That way, others will not conquer you or leave you.

Your freedom is the greatest gift given and no one has the right to take it away from you. When one is trying to take it away from you, you will sense evil and know how to fight it. You will not be alone.

(Story) Guilt

This is the day I get promoted. Today is also my birthday. Where am I right now? Sitting at home alone. It's been eight years since I talked to any of my friends. This is just a small price I pay for what I've done. I was more of a selfish man.

Eight years ago, my best friend was a girl. She was the prettiest and everyone admired her. We were in grade 12. We've always had the same class and had a plan to take the same course in college. Before school starts, we study together in our locker. After school, we go to my house or hers. We would play PS2 or tell funny stories. Her dad buys a lot of DVDs so we spent a lot of time watching movies.

There has been many scholarships given to us until we can finally afford the course we wanted. For graduation, we were gonna have our first drinking party with our friends. I had it all planned. I could have lived happily with my best friend. Everything changed since the fire at a small coffee shop.

The coffee shop was being robbed by a man. I thought I did my job as a man to protect everyone. I choked the robber and I didn't know he had a hidden knife. I got stabbed and he took my best friend as a hostage. He escaped to a small house where he was followed by cops. Out of desperation, he burned down the house with my best friend inside. He thought the cops would save the girl and buy him time to escape. He was right except that he thought he would get away. My best friend was also saved.

When I woke up in the hospital, my other friend was there. I was hoping to see my best friend but she wasn't. They told me the story of what happened to her and there on, I was changed. Half of my best friend's face was burnt and never looked the same again.

After our recovery, I went to school just to find out everything is changed. I was too used with having her so pretty but I could not stand to see her face burnt. What if I just let the robber rob the coffee shop? What if I should have just took my best friend away? I just don't have the courage to talk to my best friend anymore.

My best friend felt that I'm avoiding her because she's not the pretty girl anymore as she used to. She was hurt and I'm losing her. The longer I don't talk to her only makes our distance greater. I tried every time to talk to her but I couldn't. I was a slave of my own weakness.

After four months, it's graduation time. I took every courage and guts I have to talk to her. I wanted to put things back again but I was too late. At that time, she already hate me and never want me in her life again.

I left and since then, I made sure I'm never heard of again. I saved up enough money for her surgery. Today, I sent her the money and a letter of what it's for. I've already arranged the best doctors I can find. If she takes the offer, her beauty is all I can take back. I can't offer her to feel good about the past but I promised that I will disappear forever if that is all it takes for the both of us to move on. Regardless if she takes my offer or not, I'll take this burden alone.

Simple To Be Real

Everyone wants to get everything they see. They collect things they don't even need. Because of people's carelessness, they start losing more and more of what they really have.

When you obtain something, you lose another thing. If you carefully take analyze things you need and things you don't need, you will gain and lose nothing. When you have resources, try to make every spendings worth it. Have things that provides your daily needs.

We see everyone trying to get what others have. Must we like what others like? Must we have what other have? Must we spend so much for things we want? Can't we just be our own selves or is fitting in more important? Being someone else is absurd.

When you have things that are replaceable, you will not feel a loss. If you value an overpriced material, you will not feel secure with your things. When a person loses something, the feeling of losing something important or needed is what makes them feel sad. If you lose a thing that is bought for a high price, you will feel a greater loss.

Stay simple. Obtain only those you need. When you don't have too many things, you will not be worried of losing anything. Save your resourced for a greater need. When you know you have enough, you will not feel incomplete. When you know what you need, you will save more of your resources. When the time comes, you'll afford something good for your self that you desire the most.

See and appreciate the little things around you. When you do this, you will see what others don't see and you will gain from it.

Stay simple and you will find your life, your house and surroundings sufficient to your need.

Nick Vujicic Towards FIFA World Cup

You may know nick from "No Arms, No Legs, No Worries." In here Nick speaks of another inspirational message for the FIFA World Cup.

"The moment that I give up is the moment that I'll fail."

Parents

Be careful of how you may raise your own child. Your actions and emotions can teach your child to feel an uncontrollable feeling.

Reason with your child and teach them to deal issues calmly. Show them a great way of how you would deal with your own daily problems. If you use anger and let stress take over you, fear is implanted to your child. When you talk to your child with anger over things they don't know, they learn rebellion. Repeating the same lecture will not teach them to do things right but instead you must guide them with comfort.

Children do tend to pick what they learn. They can learn many things from everyone but the most influential beings to them are their parents. Children grow with their parents. What makes a child who they are is begins from the emotions they grow with towards their parents. If they have bad emotions from their parents, they tend to have bad behaviors. If they grow with good emotions, they will be obedient.

To teach your children trust themselves, you must learn to trust them as you teach them right from wrong. Guide them with gentleness and they will follow you. Teach them with control and they will question you as they grow up.

Let your children grow and they will make you proud. Stop them from growing and they will not learn to rely on their own. Protect your children when they are defenseless. Love your children more when they seek for love. Provide enough for your children but don't spoil them. Know where your children go and teach them how to come home safely.

Teach them to move on and you will move on with your life.

(Story) 100th Unsent Letter

I tried everything from the beginning to the end. I wrote 99 letters and yet, not one is sent to you. I am foolish and weak. Will I be able to give this letter to you? Will it be thrown away again just like the 99 letters I wrote for you?

This will be my last letter for you before I leave this town. I first met you at a pizza house. You were short a quarter so I gave you a quarter. I still remember the smile in your face.

It was not too long ago when you broke up with your boyfriend when you found out he was cheating on you. You cried your heart out and your friends could not say anything that could make you feel any better. No words can comfort you. I had my chance of getting close to you. I sat with you in your locker every day. It took 3 weeks before you noticed me. You asked me why I was there. I told you that I want to hear why you are sad. You told me everything. My ears were wide open and I never left you since then.

You like red and blue. Jackfruit makes you feel sick and you're not even alergic to it. You love strawberries. You hate pink because all the other girls like it and you don't want to be like those other girls. You loved your last boyfriend since then till now.

You were having your smile back and slowly gained your old friends. I wish I could say I love you but I can't. I was never the man you love. As you become a part of a bigger crowd, you start becoming apart from me. All I wanted was to be with you but I am just nothing. What I want doesn't seem to mater. But I did get one thing back. The smile you had back in the pizza shop.

You have your life back and I am back in the corner. Soon, my family is moving. Should I give this letter to you or not? I'm so foolish. I can't tell you how I feel and I can't even say goodbye. Do you even remember me? I thought we were friends. When I'm out of this town, you will always be a part of my memory. We were once friends and I'm happy for that. You won't be needing a person like me.

One Sided

How hard is it take other people's opinion? People fight over mac vs pc, xbox vs ps and etc.

When a person buys something, they can become attached to it. The view of looking at the goods and bad between the 2 different competing products are ignored. This is when a fanboy is born.

Always have respect to other people and they will respect you. Listen to their opinion and they will listen to you. Before you judge something, you must try using it and learn about it. When you use something and didn't like it then you didn't like it. It does not prove that it sucked more than the other item that you love.

Everyone have a differnt lifestyles. It is what makes our needs different. There will always be a division of groups. There is no gain with arguing about a products.

I have a PS3 and did not get an Xbox360. Does this mean xbox 360 sucked? NO! I would buy Xbox 360 if i was rich but i only need one console. I just picked PS3 because it's easier for me to use and i like most of their games.

Xbox 360 is a great console but why did I not get it? It can play music as you play, online gameplay is a lot more organized but still. Just the reason I can't afford to spend an extra money to upgrade my 360 to have it playing movies. I only have one room for one console because I'm being minimal. If I bought the Xbox 360, I'm sure I would love it as much as my PS3. Maybe even more.

For those people who are fighting over two competing products, learn to be reasonable. Don't be a fanboy because you're acting like one. You even get offended when they call you a fanboy or a girl. I've seen people throw curses and disrespectful words towards other gourps. Watch your actions and reasonings. You may not be able to prove anything. What you are building is just a stress and agony for your self as you do it to others. Be open and you will not take offense when someone speaks their opinion.

Who knows. Maybe by learning to take other people's opinion may help you know more about you.

What's The Best Religion?

There is no right answer to this question. How do you seek for God? Be an open minded person.

When it comes to learning the bible, it's almost impossible when doing it alone. You will always need guidance from those who have more knowledge about it.

I am partially Catholic, Protestant, and a Jehova's Witness. As it may be surprising, I am also partialy a Taoist or pronounced Daoist. I have seeked questions and got many answers. I studied the bible and found many different versions.

The bible alone is hard to truly understand because every religion creates new system that would make you question. Why is this ritual neccessary? How do you come up with God's name? Is the trinity real? Why did Jesus act as a God's son if he was God? How is Jesus not our God? Who is the real God? Why is this bible different from the others?

Do not be confused. Have you noticed how two strangers on the internet become friends when not talking about religion? When they find each other's religion, they start talking about how the other is wrong untill they are no longer friends.

If you are a peson who embraces your religion too much, you tend to have bad informations about other religions. Rather than discriminating, why don't you try to understand others? Be a part of them rather than bashing other people out. Many religious people today are not making many friends anymore. They are making more enemies to themselves and also to their religion.

If you are a person that wastes time trash talking others, you are no better than anyone else. Have a faith and be a friend of everyone. Let people accept you and reject you with respect. Do not join the forces of those who talk trash because they can't do anything but trash.

What you say can make an impact in someone's emotion. What you do can be admired and respected by others. People will listen if you listen. People will follow if you follow. People will understand if you understand. People will accept if you accept.

Don't expect everyone to give in to all of your demands. Be respectful and understanding. No religion can cause you trouble if you do so. Your will learn to more about your faith and strengthen it. You cannot find the best religion in Eath but you will find the true religion in your self.

Your faith is inside you. It is not inside a temple.

Learning Martial Arts

Learning martial arts is not about showing off or trying to beat someone to the floor. Learning the philosophies and moral behind it will make you a peacefull, reliabale and caring person. You only learn to protect your self and others. Spiritually, you learn more to reason and portray what you believe in without finding trouble.

Over many years of developing martial arts, we reach a level more advanced than it was before. More and more people are learning killer blows. There are those who learn martial arts who have no good intentions. The scariest person you would face is a person with higher ego. They will always want a challenge or sometimes, they abuse their knowledge to make other people's life complicated. Your place as a martial artist in the right path is to protect those who are weak and bullied.

Reasoning is the first lesson to learn. To reason is to avoid trouble. This way, you avoid getting hurt or getting someone else hurt. If reasoning does not work, step back to avoid a fight. If a fight is unavoidable, be ready to counter or to neutralize such hostility from one person. In the eye of many, you will gain no fault and they will admire your bravery.

As a true martial artist, you should use your strenght to bring people together and help build a peaceful life not just for your self but also for others.

Martial arts does not only teach a person how to fight but also go through unexpected obstacles. The most important of all, you have the opportunity to build your physical health and spirituality. When you develop the balance between physical and spiritual strenght, you become a peaceful person.
